PET Recycling Group — the first enterprise among the CIS countries to establish waste processing PET bottles for further production PET packaging for food products made from 100% recycled material.

At first 2011 company MUSAFFO NIYAT a project was launched to build a plant for processing used plastic bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate (PAT), with a power of more than 7000 tons per year.

Later the company was created AKPAKING for further production PET packaging food products from 100% recycled material.

Current situation in the PET market

Every year, thousands of tons of used PET bottles are burned or end up in landfills, which has a detrimental effect on the environment.
Every year this figureincreases, because PET is gradually replacing traditional materials such as glass, metal and wood from industry and everyday life.
At the moment, the bulk of used PET bottles in the form of crushed plastic are exported outside of Uzbekistan** at the price of garbage, from where, after processing, they are imported back, in the form of low-quality products and at a price several times higher than the price exported crushed raw materials.

Created production:
  • It will help reduce PET imports by 30% with the possibility of gradually increasing this indicator to 70%-80% import substitution.
  • It will open a new stage in the development of the processing industry in Uzbekistan. It will give impetus to the search for new directions and opportunities for processing secondary raw materials and will become part of “green” projects.

Projects to introduce environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies into all sectors of the economy and the widespread use of efficient renewable energy sources are "green".

The goal of implementing “green” projects is to improve the state of the environment, reduce emissions and discharges of pollutants, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, energy conservation and increase the efficiency of use of natural resources, adapting the economy to climate change.

At the UN Environment Assembly in March 2019, a proposal was made to increase plastic waste recycling and reuse.

Products manufactured by LLC "Musaffo Niyat" has already passed authorization and received official permission to supply products rPET companies "The Coca Cola company" And PepsiCo.
