About us

In the beginning of 2011 two companies, Geleon Link and Mussaffo Niyat, initiated a project of building a plant for the processing of used plastic bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), with a capacity of more than 7 000 tons per year.
This technology, called "bottle to bottle", allows production of raw materials (PET pellets) for further manufacture of PET food packaging made from 100% recycled material.

Technology, used in our production, has no analogues in the CIS countries.

This process includes the following stages of processing:  multi-stage washing and crushing of used PET bottles on the Technofer, Italian company equipment. Then goes melting and viscosity increase in the thermal reactor on the equipment of the Austrian company Starlinger, allowing produced raw materials to achieve quality parameters of primary PET raw materials imported from abroad.

Processing technologies are unique and were patented by these companies.

Every year, according to official data of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, our country annually imports about 33 000 tons of primary PET in the amount of not less than 50 million dollars. And every year this figure increases as PET is gradually replacing from industry and everyday life such traditional materials as glass, metal and wood.

Created production will help reduce imports of PET by 30% with the possibility of a gradual increase in this indicator to 70% -80% of import substitution. That will save considerable foreign exchange resources for the needs of Uzbekistan.

Every year thousands of tons of used PET bottles are incinerated or end up in landfill, which has a detrimental effect on the environment. Our company has started a program of collecting used PET bottles from the population through the opening of plastic containers’ collection points.

Now, the bulk of used PET bottles in the form of crushed plastic is exported from Uzbekistan at the price of garbage to China, Iran and Turkey, and, after processing in these countries is brought back in the form of low-quality products at a price several times higher than the price of exported crushed material.

This leads to a large outflow of foreign currency abroad and to development of processing industry in other countries. For the development of local industries in the processing of secondary raw materials for further manufacture into a final PET product, it would be advisable to install additional barriers to prevent the export of recycled materials. These measures are necessary for the development of Uzbekistan market for processing recycled PET.

In the developed countries of the world for many years already exist a program, supported by the government, for processing PET bottles and it is considered one of the main directions of development in the field of environmental protection and import substitution of raw materials.

Percentage of processing used PET bottles in these countries is up to 100%. This project will open up a new stage in the development of processing industry in Uzbekistan, and give impetus to the search for new trends and opportunities in the recycling industry.
